Welcome to my homepage! My name is Sam Piotrowski and I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at NHH Norwegian School of Economics.
My research interest is in the area of empirical corporate finance with a focus on using granular establishment-level data to analyze how firms reallocate resources in response to internal and external shocks.
Prior to joining the Finance department at NHH Norwegian School of Economics I received a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, a Masters of Finance from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
